History of the house
A piece of Davos history
The house was originally built as a hotel in the early 20th century. It later served as a sanatorium for several decades before returning to its roots – and today once again welcomes guests as Hotel Edelweiss.

In June 2010 my husband, Tom Umiker, and I took over the hotel managed by my parents and continue to run it as a family business investing a lot of passion. We both graduated from the hotel management school in Lucerne and gained a lot of valuable experience whilst working in Switzerland and abroad. We are driven and full of new ideas to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Here with us at the lovingly run Hotel Edelweiss, time does not stand still. We are constantly upgrading and renovating so that you can feel comfortable as our guest. We look forward to seeing you and warmly welcome you!
